Le Lavandou is a seaside resort town spread out over 12 kilometers of Mediterranean coastline with 12 sandy beaches. This charming resort has maintained its Provencal charm with cobbled streets, wisteria clad archways and typical old french seaside homes.

Le Lavandou offers a great range of activities day and night. Try out the water sports, some excellent diving spots, taste the local food, browse the shops, stroll the streets and admire the fantastic landscape and vegetation. Pinewoods, mimosas, eucalyptus, palm trees.

Shows and concerts run through the summer season along with traditional events.

The area is a good base for exploring the nearby Massif Des Maures, especially if you are interested in doing some cycling or walking.

Le Lavandou is  close to the Iles d'Hyeres, the 'Golden Islands' which you can reach easily by boat.

Pramousquier is the last of the 12 beaches set between
two outcrops of rock. It has a lovely sandy beach with turquoise waters. There is a restaurant/bar set on the beach. If you want they will hire out peddlos. A great way to spend an afternoon checking out the coastline.

For an afternoon/day of cycling why not hire a bike and travel the Cote d'Azur Varoise - 22km's (15miles) of easy biking from Pramousquier to Lavandou and back.Stunning scenery.

Visit the Lavandou International Harbour and see the fisherman coming back with their catches.

The markets of Provence are not to be missed with most of the small towns in the Lavandou area having a market at least once a week.

Away from the beaches visit the hill top villages or remains of medieval and historic pasts.

Borman Les Mimosas is one of the most beautiful villages in France. A typical 12 Century Provencal Village. Wander the streets and small craft shops or just stop in one of the cafes to enjoy the stunning views.
